Monday , 14, November 2011 Philippine Army, Philippine Navy Leave a commentThe AFP officially received 23 new High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV), commonly called “Humvees” in Ambulance configuration. 19 of these vehicles were given to the Philippine Army, while 4 were assigned to the Philippine Marines. The vehicles were acquired through a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) transaction and is the culmination of an effort the originated in 2007.
