A
native of Padada, Davao del Sur, Major
Bravo entered the Philippine Military
Academy in April 1, 1984, and graduated
as a member of the Class of 1990 -- as
far as is known, he is the first Ateneo
de Davao Corps Commander to achieve this.
He
served with distinction in various counter-insurgency
campaigns in Mindanao; serving with the
30th Infantry Battalion, 402nd Infantry
Brigade, and with the 98th Military Intelligence
Company, and was once assigned to the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff
for Operations at GHQ AFP.
He
was awarded the Gold Cross on April 28,

He
is currently on a 1-year tour of duty with the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) as a member of the mission's operations staff.
