Participated
in the Feast of the Assumption. A platoon
drill competition was held on the 13th,

AdD ROTC Unit won the championship in
the Davao Reserve Officer's Fraternity
(DRO-FRAT) basketball league. Back

War
games with the 13th Battalion Combat Team
(BCT) were conducted. Back

Significant
Events |
One
hundred cadets volunteered as honor guards
for President Diosdado Macapagal's visit
to Mati, Davao Oriental
Captain
Ernesto Macaraig, commanding officer of
the 13th BCT and Korean War veteran, assumed
the commandantship of the Ateneo de Davao
ROTCU. He was formerly commandant of the
Ateneo de Naga, and Ateneo de Cagayan.
Cadet
Major Macapanton Abbas, Corp Commander,
topped examinations conducted by the Armed
Forces of the Philippines for training
in Australia. Cadet Abbas, however, refused
the offer to pursue further studies.
