23 , 1991 |
Relief
of Cadet Colonel Dennis C. Dionela as
Corps Commander, and assumption of command
by Cadet 2nd Class Arnel L. Heyres;
pursuant to General Order Number 7,
Headquarters, Ateneo de Davao ROTC Unit.
Cadet
Heyres assumed command in absentia --
he was suffering from Chicken Pox at
the time.
Cadette
First Class Glonemar B Azarcon became
the first Advance WATC graduate of the
Ateneo de Davao.

First
Lieutenant Leoncio A Cirunay is relieved
as commandant of the Ateneo de Davao ROTC
Unit as per Paragraph 1, General Order
No. 19, Headquarters 11th RCDU.
Paragraph
2 of the same order assigned the commandant
of the University of Mindanao, Major Pedro
S. Dela Cruz, additional duty as Ateneo
commandant.

Summer
Planning Session (SPS) Batch 01-91. As far
as is known, this is the first attempt at
convening a workshop for the effective conduct
of training. The said workshop was conducted
for most of the summer vacation prior to

All
cadets are asked to donate a half kilo of
dried fish for the benefit of victims of

ceremony for the 1991 Annual Tactical Inspection

Officers,
Military Police, and Medics, are tapped
for guard duty during the Feast of the Immaculate
Conception -- in coordination with the ASTEC.

The
11th RCDU organized a symposium on RA
7077, for the benefit of Advance ROTC
cadets of all Davao City units. The lecturer
was Lieutenant Colonel Antonio L Boquiren
(INAC), who, to the surprise of the Ateneo
officers present, was introduced as a
former Ateneo corps commander.
This
encounter with LTC Boquiren, was the catalyst
for the ADROTH Project's corps commanders

was assigned to represent Davao City in

list of recommended Corps staff and field
commanders is submitted to the Office
of Student Affairs.
This
was in response to the Fr. Antonio Samson's
(university president) request that the
school administration be permitted to
take part in the selection of corps commanders
-- to ensure the protection of the schools'
interests. The request was made during
the commandan't briefing during the tactical
