arguably most prominent, Filipino military historians,
Colonel Uldarico S. Baclagon. This section is taken from

Military History of the Philippines. |

| Hunters
in Los Banos |
|
Among
the early organizers of the Hunters Guerrillas was Lt
Col Gustavio Ingles. After having occupied various key
positions in the organization, Lt Col Ingles coordinated
the attacking forces that liberated the Los Banos Internment
Camp on February 23, 1945. For his participation in
the operations, he was awarded the Military
Merit Medal.
